The Snowy Owl is a "must-see" for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. This magnificent
bird, with an average wingspan of up to five feet, is
breathtaking to behold. We believe Michelle Kibbe's hand
painted rendition on our nearly 9" Opal Satin Vase is also
breathtaking! The details are meticulously executed and a
tribute to Michelle's talent for capturing the beauty of this
magnificent bird. One view of this vase features a large Snowy
Owl resting on a fencepost, while the other view has another
Snowy Owl in flight. Michelle created a winter landscape as the
background on this vase, complete with falling snow and blue
and white skies. Note those golden eyes that seem to see
right through you! Did you know. . . Snowy Owls
have special feathers on their legs and talons that remind one of fluffy, white
slippers. These feathers provide ample insulation for the cold
Arctic climate of their native habitat. Male Snowy Owls
are almost completely white and females are white with dark
bars on otherwise white plumage.
Each Snowy Owls Vase is $165.

Collectors have enjoyed the charm of Fenton
fairy lights for more than half a century. The flickering
flame from a small candle inside a Fenton Fairy Light
always seems to warm an entire room.
Michelle Kibbe's design on our 5" Opal
Satin Fairy Light will make the perfect gift for
Valentine's Day or as a "just because" gift for someone
special! A pair of "Love Birds" Owls perch on a branch with
flowering hearts and large pink flowers. The top of the
shade as well as the base are painted in a rosy red color
to complement Michelle's design. Additional views are shown below, including
the far right image of this Fairy Light with the tea
light's radiating glow. Each
Love Birds Fairy Light is $95 and includes a
battery-operated tea light.

Kim Barley's colorful and
unique hand painted feather design looks very attractive
on our 4.25" Fox Figurine, handcrafted in one of our
latest glass colors, Caramel. The glass color shows
through the vivid blue, aqua, gold and white tones of
Kim's design.
Kim's creative use of a variety of patterns
on the feathers and the head decoration are amazing! Note
those wide open golden-black eyes! The photo below shows
additional views of the neat figurine. Each
Fancy Feathers Fox Figurine is $80. |

American glass manufacturers have produced
eggs since the early 1900s. The Fenton Art Glass "5140"
Egg on Stand was produced in many colors and patterns
during the 1970s and 80s. Fenton Art Glass began their
Collectible Eggs series in 1991.
Fenton Gift Shop is pleased to bring back
the Egg on Stand in Opal Satin with a beautiful hand
painted design by Michelle Kibbe. Large, lush purple roses with greenery and white and
blue floral accents encircle the egg with another small
cluster of flowers on the base. A ruby-throated
hummingbird hovers near one of the roses to sip its sweet
nectar.
Each Purple Rose Hummingbird Egg on Stand is
$75. |
We're sure this jolly Ghost figurine will become
a decorating favorite!
The light and dark swirls of color in this Caramel 5.75"
Ghost figurine provide a great glass canvas for Michelle
Kibbe's whimsical "Witchy Owl" design. Note the
long eyelashes and heart-shaped nose on the Ghost's face! An adorable brown owl perches atop
rickety old fenceposts, next to two pumpkins with big
smiles. Perhaps this owl is getting ready to transform
itself into a witch! Michelle added moon, star and white
dot accents.
Each Witchy Owl Ghost Figurine is $115.

There's a new Sheriff in town. . . and he's
a jolly, carrot-nosed Snowman! Kim Barley created this
delightful western-themed design on our 7" Opal Satin
two-part Snowman Fairy Light. The base of this fairy light
includes a wagon wheel and hitching post. The Snowman Sheriff's faithful equine companion appears to be taking a
snack break. The top half of this fairy light has been airbrushed with a
wintry blue sky background. Kim added
tall green pines and falling snow. Note the wonderful
details on the face and top hat. A lucky horseshoe and
a Sheriff's badge are tucked inside the hat band. The bottom
photos show the different views. The Fenton Art Glass
Snowman fairy light was designed by Fenton sculptor Jon
Saffell. Along with our Snowman and Snowlady figurines,
they were in a grouping called Frosty Friends for several
years. This Snowman Fairy Light is sure to become a
favorite for seasonal decorating!
Each
Snowman
Sheriff Fairy Light is
$120 and includes a battery-operated tea light.
Pre-orders for the
Purple Rose Hummingbird Egg on Stand, Witchy
Owl Ghost Figurine
and the
Snowman
Sheriff Fairy Light
will be accepted until midnight on Wednesday, January 22,
2020.

Here's a wonderfully interesting one-of-a-kind
hand painted Alley Cat (11" tall) from Fenton artist Michelle
Kibbe. The Alley Cat is Jadeite glass, and Michelle's creative
design features a fierce colorful Chinese dragon wrapped
around the body of the Alley Cat. The green Dragon is
beautifully detailed, the purple hues of its eyes are
reflected in those of the Alley Cat itself and other design
elements used by Michelle. The Alley Cat is an all-time
favorite among Fenton Art Glass collectors since its
introduction in 1970. The mould originated at the U. S. Glass
Co. in Tiffin, Ohio, during the 1920s.
Here's a splendid one-of-a-kind hand painted
Flip vase (6" tall) from Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe. This
black glass vase was iridized with a spray of metallic salts
to produce the vivid marigold iridescence that you can see in
the wide bands at the top and bottom of the vase. The wide
horizontal area of the vase has been satin-finished to create
the perfect canvas for Michelle's delicate airbrushing and
hand painted depictions of three adorable cats ... from a
playful brown cat playing with a ball of purple yarn to a
tortoise shell cat and its tuxedo cat friend. Michelle's hand
painting, as always, is meticulous in its attention to detail,
and every aspect and angle of this hand painted vase are
pleasant sights to behold. The vase has an attractive diamond
optic pattern inside.
Talented Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe has a
flair for the unusual, and this one-of-a-kind hand painted
satin-finished Ruby glass Ghost figurine (6" tall) certainly
qualifies in that regard! From the hand painted green-eyed
black cat to the purple-eyed Ghost itself, this figurine will
start conversations, whether near Halloween or any time of the
year! Note all the interesting hand painted details ... from
the colorful hatband and yellow dots on the hat worn by the
cat to the black spider in its web and all those fish bones
tossed casually over the Ghost's shoulder. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will
end at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. |
