Kim Barley's lovely "Butterfly & Tulips"
hand painted design on our 5" Opal Satin Stylized Cat
Figurine will add just the right spot of color to any room
in your
home! Large tulip blooms in shades of pink,
white and raspberry adorn the cat, which has been
transformed into a gray tabby with stripes in gray tones on the body.
A black and yellow butterfly hovers near
one of the tulip blooms. Kim added a sprig of berries to
the top of the head (see inset photo). Note those
attractive green eyes.
Additional views are shown below. This
would make the perfect
gift for the figurine collector, cat enthusiast or treat
yourself!
Sculptor Jon Saffell designed the (5065)
Cat figurine, known as the Stylized Cat, in 1999, much to
the delight of our cat fanciers!
Each Butterfly & Tulips
Stylized Cat Figurine is $95.

Fenton Gift Shop is proud to offer beautiful
hand blown glass ornaments. These iridized (approx. 3-1/2"
dia.) ornaments are hand blown by Ron Hinkle, a glass artisan
from Buckhannon, West Virginia. Ron uses his glass-making
skills to create the classic Christmas tree ball shape,
finished with a delicate loop of applied glass. This ornament
was made with different shades of white frit and sprayed with
Ron’s “magic” iridescent spray. This ornament features a
Limited Edition design by Kim Barley and will be signed and
dated 2019. Kim's whimsical hand painted scene includes a
smiling snowman, dressed in a colorful toboggan and scarf,
raising its wooden branch arm in a hello salute to a small
blue bird perched on
another branch. The bluebird also sports a toboggan. Note the
red heart dangling from the bird's branch. Kim created a
snowflake effect around the top of the ornament and she hand
lettered the word "joy" in beautiful script with a
snowflake accent underneath. We're sure this ornament will
become a treasured family heirloom!
Each Joy Blown Ornament is $65.

Michelle Kibbe's wonderful winter scene on this 8.75" Opal
Satin Vase features black-capped chickadees. One view has
two of these petite birds perched on a fence. . . perhaps
pausing during feeding time! Another view has a chickadee
perched on a pine tree branch. Michelle created a frame
effect for the scene by painting the top and bottom areas
in a winter sky blue accented with snowflakes of
assorted sizes. She added delicate blue ring accents that
encircle the vase. Additional views of this lovely vase
are shown below.
Did you know. . . Commonly seen at bird feeders, black-capped
chickadees consume some berries and seeds, especially in
the winter months when insects are scarce. To keep warm, a
black-capped chickadee creates its own insulation against
the cold by making its soft, thick feathers puff out to
trap warm air close to its body.
Each Snowflakes & Chickadees Vase is $165.
Pre-orders for the
Butterfly & Tulips
Stylized Cat Figurine, the
Joy Blown Ornament and the Snowflakes &
Chickadees Vase
will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, December 9,
2019.

The impressive size of this 11.25" Opal
Satin Vase provides a perfect glass canvas for Robin
Spindler's spectacular scene of a mother Great Horned Owl
with two owlets. The hand painted details are meticulously
executed. . . a tribute to Robin's artistic talent. A
female Great Horned Owl watches over her young as they
sleep in their nest. Robin has transformed the entire vase
into the owl's natural habitat of a dense forest with
trees in brown tones. Clusters of blue berries hang from
branches. Note the mesmerizing eyes on the mother
owl! Robin named her design "A Mother's Tender Care". Each
vase will be signed, dated and numbered with the name also
added to each piece. Did you know. . . Great Horned Owls are most vocal
in the winter. They may be heard in every habitat across
North America, even in the cities! The owlet, or baby
great horned owl, displays whitish gray down with brown
markings as hatchlings. As days go by, the chick begins to
show more of a cinnamon-buff colored down. When they are
42 days old, the young owls attempt to fly. Each A
Mother's Tender Care Vase
is $215.
It's getting closer to winter and many areas of
our country have already experienced their first snowfall!
Michelle Kibbe celebrates winter fun and games with
this adorable "Penguin Pals" hand painted design. Our 8" Opal
Satin Chessie Cat Covered Box provides the perfect glass
canvas for these playful penguins preparing for a snowball battle!
Their antics have awakened the sleepy gray kitten from its winter nap. Michelle added snowflake accents on the lid as well as a
colorful stripe effect around the edge. She airbrushed the top
of the lid as well as the base of the box in light blue. She
also added a trio of penguin tracks on the base. This popular
"Chessie" cat character was used as a symbol of the Chesapeake
and Ohio Railway with their advertising slogan that when
traveling on their railway you would "sleep like a kitten". In
addition to the artist's signature, the base of this box is
embossed with the words "Chessie by Fenton". The inside is
shiny, while the outside has been satin finished. Each Penguin
Pals Chessie Cat Covered Box is $150.

Robin Spindler continues to channel another
era with her latest "tie dye" design. She chose the 3.5"
Opal Satin Sitting Bear for her latest figurine. Robin
airbrushed and hand painted the figurine, resulting in an
amazing blend of multi-colored brushstrokes producing the
"tie-dye" pattern.
You'll love the vibrant shades of blue,
rosy red, yellow, golden-orange, and green in this Sitting
Bear! We're sure this figurine will appeal to the young as
well as the young-at-heart! Additional views are shown
below. Note the large blue eyes, the long, curling
eyelashes and that sweet expression.
If you recently ordered Robin's Tie-Dye
Dino, Toad and Turtle figurines, then you'll want to add
this Sitting Bear as the perfect companion piece for your
collection.
Each Tie Dye Bear Figurine
is $80.
Pre-orders for A Mother's Tender
Care Vase, the Penguin
Pals Chessie Cat Covered Box and the Tie Dye
Sitting Bear Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET)
on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

featured this week. . .
Here’s an opportunity to purchase a special sample item from
“Fenton Christmas past!” Introduced in the late 1990s, this
limited edition iridescent Spruce Green Egg on Stand (3.75”
tall) was called “The Arrival”. The hand painted scene will be
familiar to all of those who enjoy traditional, well-known
Christmas stories.
The mould for the Egg on Stand was designed by Fenton sculptor
Jon Saffell. This Egg on Stand was hand painted by Fenton
artist Dianna Barbour, and her signature can be seen on the
reverse side, along with the inscribed designation “sample”.
Randy Fenton, Fenton Gift Shop president and treasurer, has
personally signed this Egg on Stand as well. |

Just in time for Christmas ... here's a
wonderful opportunity to acquire a one-of-a-kind hand painted
Nativity Set from Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe. There are five
Opal Satin glass pieces in the set: kneeling Mary (5" tall),
Joseph (6.75" tall), baby Jesus in manger (2.5” long), the
Angel (6.75" tall) and a Camel (5.5" long). Each piece has
been carefully hand painted, and you'll love the variety of
tones in the Angel (blue) and Mary (pink) and Joseph (green).
Note the delicate colors for the baby Jesus in manger. The
Camel is remarkably realistic with its hand painted
decoration. This set will truly be an heirloom for the

painted Nativity Set is identified, dated and signed on its
respective underside: "hand painted by M. Kibbe 2019 OOAK".
