Sculptor Jon Saffell designed the (5065) Cat figurine, known as the Stylized Cat, in 1999, much to the delight of our cat fanciers!

Using black glass with a satin finish as her canvas, Michelle Kibbe created a wonderful "full moon" winter scene featuring three male cardinals perched on barren white trees. She also added metallic gold paint on the trees that appear to reflect the moonlight as it rises above the snow-covered landscape.

Note the blue eyes and the heart-shaped nose of this 5" Stylized Cat figurine! This figurine is sure to delight cat enthusiasts and become a "must have" addition for figurine collectors! Each Cardinals in Moonlight Stylized Cat Figurine is $95 and limited to 14.

This 8" Lighthouse is handcrafted in Opal Satin glass (5" base) and crystal (3" top), using Fenton Art Glass moulds that were not used for production before glassmaking halted at Fenton in 2011. Kim Barley transformed this Fairy Light into a lighthouse from days gone by. . . a lighthouse handcrafted with large multi-colored stones and old style wooden door. Two windows, framed in gray-toned stones, reflect the golden glow from the light inside. The top of the crystal lid has been painted to resemble the blue sky with flying seagulls. Kim added large waves around the base to complete the look of this marvelous Lighthouse Fairy Light. A battery-operated tea light is included with each Lighthouse. It fits perfectly on the top of the base in a recessed area. Each Old Stone Lighthouse Fairy Light is $125 and includes a battery-operated tea light.

We are pleased to offer another unique and new design for our "butter tub", made by Mosser Glass. Before refrigerators were used in households, butter was stored in a round or rectangular covered dish. This version is handcrafted in Jadeite, with a satin finish on the outside and a glossy interior. This 4.5" x 4.5" Covered Box is versatile. Use it as a treasure box to store your precious keepsakes or as a candy box. . . or think "outside the box" and discover a new use for this beautiful Limited Edition!

Michelle Kibbe's unique and fun Halloween-themed design features whimsical witches. This would be the perfect place to store "special" treats! The lid of this covered box sports the top half of two witches ... each with a hat painted in purple, green and black stripes and includes a gold buckle. One witch has a long, thin nose while the other has a large, ruddy, bulb-shaped nose. Michelle added multi-colored stars and bubbles as accents on the lid and base. The base of this box has four different styles for the witch's bottom half... you choose which to display by aligning the lid to the dress! Choose from the four dresses painted in hues of purple, yellow, green, and red. The base is framed with purple banding with a thin purple pinstriped on the lid to complement the design. Each Which Witch? Covered Box is $90.

Fenton Foal Figurine: Several Fentons fell hard for sculptor Suzi Whitaker's new horse figurine mould in 2006. The final result was named the "Fenton Foal" and has become a collector favorite. We are pleased to once again offer this figurine in Opal Satin! Our Fenton Foal figurine is 3.75" long. The Foal's mane has wonderful texture, and, as always, the eyes are remarkably expressive.

This Opal Satin Horse Figurine was hand painted by Kim Barley to resemble a horse named "Buck" that appeared on a popular western television series. The markings are natural with dark mane and tail and a tan body. Note those adorable eyes!

Did you know. . .  Actor Lorne Greene chose a thoroughbred Buckskin as the horse for his character in the popular western series. Buck's beautiful color, smooth gaits and gentle temperament made him the ideal television mount. Additional views are shown below. This figurine would make the perfect gift for the horse enthusiast or figurine collector! Each Buck Horse Figurine is $80.

Our 2.75" Eggplant Mouse figurine shown above features a colorful hand painted "Butterfly Delight" design by Michelle Kibbe. Her design includes a large purple butterfly with wings that adorn each ear. She added large flowers in complimentary hues on top of the head. Two additonal butterflies, in vibrant aqua-purple hues, are painted on the front and back of the body with larger flower clusters. Michelle added a white bead bracelet on the arm. Note those large blue eyes! Each Butterfly Delight Mouse Figurine is $80.

Our 8" Opal Satin Chessie Cat Covered Box has a lovely design by Kim Barley of a kitten trying to catch a nap. The kitten's big blue eyes are wide awake as a large bumblebee buzzes near the kitten's ear. Note the white whiskers on the kitten!

Kim created large, beautiful Hyacinth and white floral blooms. She added another bumblebee, buzzing among the flowers, on the lid adorned with white dot accents.

This popular "Chessie" cat character was used as a symbol of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. They used this artwork with their advertising slogan that when traveling on their railway you would "sleep like a kitten". In addition to the artist's signature, the base of this box is embossed with the words "Chessie by Fenton".

Additional views of this Chessie Cat Covered Box are shown below. Each Hyacinth Chessie Cat Covered Box is $150.

Pre-orders for the Butterfly Delight Mouse Figurine, Buck Horse Figurine and the Hyacinth Chessie Cat Covered Box will be accepted until midnight on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .

Here's your opportunity to own a lovely "one-of-a-kind" Fenton Art Glass creation through our weekly Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Items featured this week. . .

This unique, one-of-a-kind Chocolate glass vase (10" tall) features both intricate sandcarving by Cathy Mackey and exquisite hand painting by Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe. Cathy's sandcarved scene depicts leafy trees and various foliage as well as a church in the distance (can you see the steeple?). Michelle's hand painted Cardinal birds are true to life in every way, from the male and female couple on the front of the vase to the bachelor male on the reverse side!

Chocolate glass was first perfected in 1900 by Jacob Rosenthal, and he became Fenton's first factory manager in 1906. This interesting color reveals various shades during the sandcarving process, as you can see in the photos.

This Chocolate vase is identified, dated and signed on the underside: "hand painted by M. Kibbe 2019" and it is also personally signed by both Cathy Mackey and longtime Fenton Art Glass Co. vice-president and factory manager Tom Fenton.

With the Marigold Carnival glass for her canvas, Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe designed and hand painted this one-of-a-kind scene of butterflies hovering amidst the iridescent carved flowers. The painted butterflies are created in a colorful blend of hues, including yellow, blue and pink. This one-of-a-kind vase is identified, dated and signed on the underside: "hand painted by M. Kibbe 2019 OOAK". In late 1907, Fenton introduced "Iridescent" glass. This glass, now known as "Carnival" glass, is a popular collectible today. This contemporary 6" Square Vase is handcrafted in Marigold Carnival glass. It has been sand carved with delicate flowers which encircle the vase. Sand carving is a painstaking process. After the glass has been annealed, a special mask is taped to the surface of the glass. Using an advanced "vignetting" technique, each piece is carefully sand carved, by hand, using aluminum oxide crystals under pressure to take away some of the surface. Great individual skill and experience are needed to control this operation, as many distinct stages of successive cameo carving are required to create the remarkable depth and the intricate details. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
