FGS Kim Barley OOAK Painted Iridized Milk Glass Fenton Alley Cat This 11” Iridized Milk Glass Alley Cat was handpainted by Fenton decorator Kim Barley. This piece combines both a soft matte finish transitioning into a shiny iridized finish along the bottom half. Kim's colorful bird is perched among vibrant hibiscus blooms set against a lovely lavender background, while the Alley Cat's bright eyes and sweet smile bring this beloved figurine to life. The Alley Cat mould originated at the U.S. Glass Co. in Tiffin, Ohio during the 1920s and was purchased by Fenton Art Glass in the mid-1960s. This piece was made for us by our friends at Mosser Glass using the original Fenton mould. It is signed and dated: “hand painted by Kim Barley 2026 OOAK”. Robin created a striking patriotic design featuring a majestic bald eagle set against a flowing American flag that wraps completely around the vase. The detailed portrait captures the eagle’s strength and determination, while the softly shaded flag adds depth and movement to the piece.
