Color Your World with Fenton Art Glass!
Crayola brand crayons were the first kids' crayons ever made, invented by cousins, Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith. The brand's first box of eight Crayola Crayons made its debut in 1903. The crayons were sold for a nickel and the colors were black, brown, blue, red, purple, orange, yellow, and green. Two years later, on May 4, 1905, Frank L. Fenton and his brother John started the Fenton Art Glass Company. Today Fenton Art Glass is among the world's foremost producers of handmade art glass. Fenton has become renowned for innovative colors and decorative treatments on pressed and blown glassware for over a century. The first Fenton colors were Crystal, Blue Opalescent, Green Opalescent, French Opalescent and Chocolate. Other innovative colors by Fenton were Burmese and Carnival Glass.
