Dave Fetty Turquoise Feathers Egg Master glass artisan Dave Fetty has created a spectacular Egg (4-1/2" tall). The turquoise color results when Milk Glass is cased with transparent blue glass. Janet Noble Joins Fenton's Internet Department Janet Noble comes to Fenton through a summer internship program at Washington State Community College. Janet will be working with Connie Mayle, the Fenton webmaster until September. A Computer Graphics major, Janet is no stranger to the field of graphic design. Having already received an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Cincinnati Academy of Design, Janet has worked in various positions part-time and freelance while raising her family. "I am pleased to have someone with her extensive background in graphic design joining our internet team," says Mayle. After her youngest child got married, Janet decided to go back to school, brush up on her skills, and learn some new ones. She is very proud that after all these years, her brain still works. Her honors include Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for two year colleges and a 3.9 GPA. Janet has five classes yet to take to receive her Associate Degree in Computer Graphics. She and her husband reside at Cutler, Ohio. They have three married children, one grandchild with another due in February. Fenton Gift Shop Exclusives... QVC Alert: Fenton show to be held on Thursday, July 12th from 4am to 5am EST Frances Burton Frances Burton loved sketching and painting with watercolors long before she began working as a Fenton decorator in 1973. She enjoys her job as a designer because it gives her the freedom to create. Much of her inspiration comes from her garden. "I love to grow flowers, and I get many ideas from them," she says. "It lets me see what they look like in nature and how they change as they grow." Fenton’s 85th birthday in 2000, this Red Carnival Holly plate (10” dia.) has the added feature of handpainted white roses done by the talented Beverly Cumberledge. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and Bev is now retired from Fenton. 1970s Blue Marble Rose Pattern Double Crimped Comport Bid Now (eBay)
This double crimped comport (6-1/4” tall) in our Rose
pattern is a great example of the glass color we called “Blue Marble” in the
early 1970s. This piece has interesting swirls as well as an original Fenton
