The colors and treatment are most intriguing: a rich opaque golden yellow covered with French Opalescent and developed with a great spiral optic effect. 1970 Black Crest Basket Bid Now (eBay) This Black crest basket (6-1/2" tall) was sold through the Fenton Gift Shop about 1970, and such pieces are difficult to find today. The handler's mark of Fred Bruce is quite clear on this wonderful basket! Amethyst Opalescent Off-Hand Coin Spot Vase by Dave Fetty Bid Now (eBay) This graceful vase (10-1/4" tall) in rich Amethyst Opalescent glass is what we sometimes call "Coin Spot" as the "spots" are opalescent and the area surrounding them is transparent. This is a sample piece, made by Dave Fetty in 2005 or 2006, and it is embossed with Dave's personal stamp. 1960s Colonial Amber Comport Bid Now (eBay)
This comport (7-1/2" tall) in our Rose pattern is
satin-finished (oh, so super smooth!) Colonial Amber glass, and it was made
in the 1960s, although it was not in the Fenton line as satin-finished. The
design idea for this item came from a U. S. Glass Co. piece made in the
1920s. To Visit the Fenton Sample Room
