NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated by one of our talented designers. These Limited Edition pieces were handcrafted by Mosser Glass, using a Fenton mould, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop.

This elegant 11" Vase will make quite a statement when on display in your home! Michelle Kibbe created a marvelous scene featuring a green-eyed orange tabby cat peeking out from behind golden yellow sunflowers on this Opal Satin Vase. The meticulous hand painted details on the flower petals and leaves and petite purple-blue blossoms are beautiful. The black panels encircling this vase have elegant golden scroll accents which provide a wonderful contrast to the sunflowers. Each Cat in the Sunflowers Vase is $170.

Welcome the winter season with this Opal Satin Snowman and Snowlady figurine pair featuring a design by Kim Barley.

The hand painted details are marvelous and colorful! The front of each 4" figurine has a scene of a birdhouse adorned with a golden star, a pine tree laden with berries, a bright red cardinal and a wooden sign with the hand lettered words "LET IT SNOW".

Note each smiling face complete with carrot nose! The hats have a heart accent and the couple sport matching scarves and polka dot mittens. The images below show the winter landscape scene covering all sides of this fun pair. We're sure this Let It Snow figurine pair will become a decorating favorite!

Each Let It Snow Snowman and Snowlady Figurine Pair is $150.

Michelle Kibbe hand painted this 5.75" Opal Satin Ghost figurine in a warm Cinnamon candy color. She added a wonderful scene which includes a full moon and a barn with barren trees in the foreground. Note the nice folk art scroll and checkerboard accents on the hat and around the base of the figurine.

Silhouettes of three black cats are included in Michelle's design. . . one sitting on a fence post and two sitting on tree branches . . . all facing that wonderful full moon. Each Kitty Moon Ghost Figurine is $115.

Pre-orders for the Cat in the Sunflowers Vase, Let It Snow Snowman and Snowlady Figurine Pair and Kitty Moon Ghost Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, October 9, 2017. This beautiful 11" Opal Satin Vase is made even more so with Robin Spindler's meticulously detailed and hand painted design of a pair of Cardinals (male and female) perched on a pine branch. Robin added a lovely scene on the remaining panels of this vase (see above photo). Did you know. . . One of the most well known birds in America, the Northern Cardinal is the state bird of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia, and Virginia. Each Pine Cones and Cardinals Vase is $190.

Robin Spindler's "Downhill Skier" design on this 4.5" Opal Satin Penguin figurine will delight one and all! This figurine is the perfect companion piece for Robin's Owl figurine featuring the same design in our September 22 newsletter. She created a wintry mountain landscape, including bluish-green pines and rocky ledges. Look closely and you'll see the snow spraying up in the air behind the skier as he swiftly glides downhill. Each Downhill Skier Penguin Figurine is $80.

Kim Barley has created an adorable "Holly Kitty" design on our 3.25" Opal Satin Sitting Cat figurine. This cat is all decked out in red and green holiday finery complete with a colorful red bowtie that complements the green vest. Holly and berries provide accents for the head and backside. Note the small gray mouse and that expressive face with a heart-shaped red nose! Each Holly Kitty Sitting Cat Figurine is $75.

Pre-orders for the Limited Edition Pine Cones and Cardinals Vase, Downhill Skier Penguin Figurine and Holly Kitty Sitting Cat Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Fenton Art Glass Mould Information. . .

As mentioned in previous newsletters, the Fenton Gift Shop has offered about 10,000 moulds for sale. The link below will take you to an Excel spreadsheet that lists all of the moulds in numerical order from the Fenton record system. The spreadsheet lists the moulds in numerical order (column A) as recorded in the Fenton system. Information in other columns will help you. Columns D and K provide brief descriptions of each mould. When known, the previous owner of a mould is listed in column Q. Fenton historian James Measell traced the histories of many moulds, and his comments are in columns S and T. The current status of any moulds sold (or promised) to a particular purchaser is noted in column U. The prices for moulds are in column M. This Excel file is "searchable" so you can use your search terms to try to find particular moulds. Link for Mould listing:

The links below will take you to files with the Fenton mould pictures including crimps and optic moulds.  #1-750MK #751-1499  #1500-2668L  #2670-3999  #8000-SM9409   #6000-7900  #4000-5999

Please note: the Excel spreadsheet will be updated from time to time as moulds are sold or promised to purchasers.

Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .

Here's an opportunity to own a beautiful "one-of-a-kind" art glass creation or an item from Fenton's history through our weekly eBay auctions. This auction ends at noon (ET) on Wednesday, October 11. Items featured this week. . .

This one-of-a-kind Bridesmaid Doll figurine (about 6.5" tall) by Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe is very special indeed. The Opal Satin glass is beautifully airbrushed with tones of green, and the hand painted details (corsage, bouquet and the floral on the dress itself) are perfectly executed. The hair and face are, as always, perfect in every way! This one-of-a-kind Bridesmaid Doll figurine is identified, signed and dated inside: "M. Kibbe 2017 OOAK".

Here's a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of Fenton history! This original color page illustrating Tangerine stretch glass dates from about 1927. This color page measures about 9.75" tall and 12" long, and it's backed with thin cheesecloth so it could be inserted in the sort of portfolio that the Fenton sales staff assembled and used in the 1920s. Some 17 different Tangerine items are illustrated on this page, and the color is wonderful, just like the day it was done even though it's more than 85 years old! If you collect Fenton Tangerine stretch glass (or stretch glass in general), just imagine how this would look in a nice frame.

Award-winning Fenton designer Robin Spindler decided to use her talents and skills to hand paint on a Fenton glass color test disk (about 2.62" in diameter and .5" thick). She chose a Chocolate glass color test disk, and the result you see here is a spectacular one-of-a-kind glass keepsake! The hand painted Leopard and foliage are perfectly executed, and this very special piece is identified, signed and dated: "J. K. Spindler 2017 OOAK". Color test disks were made when molten glass was being readied for a day's work or a new color was being made. Fenton chemists would gather just the right amount of glass and employ a metal former to create a color test disk. The procedure was often carried out in the early morning hours so that adjustments could be made as needed. Color test disks were stored in our glass technology research area.

It's the start of the Fall season, so all the fun of Halloween cannot be far away! This one-of-a-kind Ghost figurine (5.75" tall) by Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe is very special indeed. The Opal Satin glass is beautifully airbrushed in blue tones, and the hand painted details (three black cats in Halloween finery, colorful pumpkins and sunflowers) are perfectly executed. The smiling ghost also sports a “cat mask”. Sure to become a Halloween decorating favorite! This one-of-a-kind Ghost figurine is identified, signed and dated inside: "handpainted by M. Kibbe 2017 OOAK". This auction ends at noon (ET) on Wednesday, October 11.
