Our remaining Jewelry Collection
inventory includes classic Fenton colors, glass
treatments and lovely designs. We are pleased to offer
these handcrafted "Vasa Murrhina" Pendants.
Each glass bead includes
sterling silver fittings and measures 3/4" in length
with the overall pendant measuring 1-3/8".
"Vasa Murrhina" is a term which
means "vessel of gems." Each unique Fenton bead
captures a glittering layer of Goldstone. Our
beadmakers use extreme care to maintain the sparkle in
the hot flame. Tiny bits of colored glass add a
variety of hues in each different design, and no two
are identical! This difficult process is one of the
secrets of Fenton quality and the brilliance of its
"made in America" beads.

pendants must be

The
winter season comes to life on this 10" Opal Satin Vase.
Designed by Michelle Kibbe, a snow covered landscape provides
the perfect setting for Michelle's hand painted scene of a cute bunny having a conversation with a
chickadee that is perched on a pine branch. More branches with
colorful red berries encircle the vase. Michelle added delicate
blue pin
striping around the base to complete this lovely scene. Each
Winter Pals Vase is $170.
All dressed up and ready to go visiting,
this adorable Opal Satin 4.5" Penguin figurine is sure to
bring a smile! Designed by Michelle Kibbe, this figurine
sports a blue snowflake-covered coat and a lavender vest. The
Penguin holds a basket filled with Holly cuttings, a
seasonal decorating favorite. Each Holly Basket Penguin Figurine
is $80.
Our "Bells of Holly" Chessie Cat Covered Box
(8" tall with lid) is
the perfect place to hide holiday treats! Michelle Kibbe continued
her holly theme on this hand painted design and added golden bells tied with a bright red
ribbon and lush green holly and pine on the back of this covered box.
The blue-eyed white kitten is wide awake and snuggled into a green blanket adorned with snowflakes. Michelle trimmed
out the lid with more holly and pine trimmings with delicate white scroll details. Each
Bells of Holly Chessie Cat Covered Box is $150.

The front area on this 5.5" tall Opal Satin Owl Figurine
provided an ideal canvas for Robin Spindler's marvelous hand
painted "Downhill Skier" design. She created a wintry
mountain landscape, including bluish-green pines and
rocky ledges. Look closely and you may see the snow flying up
in the air behind the skier as he swiftly glides downhill. Each
Downhill Skier Owl Figurine is $90.
Rich Cobalt Blue Glass creates the background
for Robin Spindler's marvelous hand painted "Peace on Earth"
design on our 11" Alley Cat. Her scene includes familiar
winter visitors. . . a deer, bunnies and a bright red male
cardinal. Robin added a snowy landscape (complete with animal
tracks!) that covers the paws and tail of the figurine. Snow
laden pine trees stand tall against a wintry sky to complete
this winter scene. Each Peace on Earth Alley Cat is $240.
Kim Barley's "Starry Night" Bear Figurine is a
must have addition to any figurine collection! Kim
airbrushed this 3.5" Opal Satin figurine in soft gray tones.
Her whimsical design includes an adorable expression,
including large eyelashes and a sweet smile. Golden stars
adorn the head and note the hearts on the boots. Each
Starry Night Bear Figurine is $75.

Fenton Art Glass Mould Information.
. . |
As
mentioned in previous newsletters, the Fenton Gift Shop
has offered about 10,000 moulds for sale. The link below will take you to an Excel
spreadsheet that lists all of the moulds in numerical
order from the Fenton record system. The spreadsheet lists
the moulds in numerical order (column A) as recorded in
the Fenton system. Information in other columns will help
you. Columns D and K provide brief descriptions of each
mould. When known, the previous owner of a mould is listed
in column Q. Fenton historian James Measell traced the
histories of many moulds, and his comments are in columns
S and T. The current status of any moulds sold (or
promised) to a particular purchaser is noted in column U.
The prices for moulds are in column M. This Excel file is
"searchable" so
you can use your search terms to try to
find particular moulds.

The
links below will take you to files with the Fenton mould
pictures including crimps and optic moulds.
These color photos of the moulds are in the same numerical
order as column A in the Excel spreadsheet. View these
photos on your computer and keep the Excel spreadsheet at
hand simultaneously. Please note: the Excel spreadsheet
will be updated from time to time as moulds are sold or
promised to purchasers. |
Fenton Art Glass
eBay Auctions. . .
Here's an opportunity
to own a beautiful
"one-of-a-kind" art
glass creation or an item from Fenton's history through our weekly
eBay auctions. This auction ends at noon (ET) on Tuesday,
September 26.
Items featured this week. . .
When one thinks of the term "elegant," this
one-of-a-kind vase quickly comes to mind. Designed and hand
painted by Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe, this stately vase in
satin finished green glass stands 9.5" tall and features tones
of burnished gilt and lush hand painted white flowers that are
so wonderfully detailed that we can almost savor their
distinctive aroma! The border at the midline of the vase is
delicate and perfectly proportioned.
Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe loves to create hand painted
designs that feature lighthouses, and this gorgeous
one-of-a-kind vase (7.25" tall) displays all of her talents
and skills to perfection! This Opal Satin vase has four tall
panels, and Michelle has designed and hand painted four
different unique lighthouses, depicting them in the four
seasons of the year: winter, spring, summer and fall. Each
lighthouse is perfectly executed and remarkably detailed. The
individual lighthouses are identified by name of their
location and state: Pemaquid Point, Maine; Thomas Point,
Maryland; Split Rock, Minnesota; and Fire Island, New York.
The Pemaquid Point Lighthouse stands only 38’ tall and stands
on the west side entrance of Muscongus Bay. Located above
Thomas Point Shoal in Annapolis, this was the last manual
lighthouse on Chesapeake Bay and one of the most photographed
in the area. The Split Rock lighthouse sits on a cliff 124’
above Lake Superior. Fire Island’s Lighthouse is known as the
“Winking Woman” and stands 167’ tall within Fire Island
National Seashore.
Here's a great opportunity to acquire a bit of Fenton history!
This is an ORIGINAL catalog issued by Fenton Art Glass in
January 1960 ... more than 57 years ago! The 8.5" x 11"

Apple Blossom Crest, Silver Crest, Peach Crest, Ruby Overlay,
Cranberry and Cranberry Opalescent along with items in Milk
Glass. You'll also see the well-known Cactus pattern line and
lots of Milk Glass Hobnail. The catalog is in near mint
condition (some scuff marks on the back cover), and an

included.
This auction ends at noon (ET) on Tuesday, September 26.
