Limited Editions
from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer new
Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features
a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated by one
of our talented designers. These Limited Edition pieces were
handcrafted by Mosser
Glass, using a Fenton mould, exclusively for the Fenton Gift
Shop.
Add a splash of color to any room during the
winter season or any time with this Owl
figurine! Designer Michelle Kibbe adorned the
Owl figurine with vibrant blue, red and yellow birdhouses, a
colorful green scarf with blue trim and seasonal birds and a
holly sprig on the head. Note the long eyelashes and the snow
accents on the base of this figurine. Each Winter Birdhouses Owl Figurine
is $90.
Michelle hand painted each of our
4" tall Opal Satin Snowman and Snowlady in bright raspberry-colored
seasonal attire. She added delicate white scroll accents
around the flowers, bows on each hat, snow accents, and
wonderful smiling expressions! Each Roscoe & Roxie
Snowpeople Figurine Pair is $140.
Below: Our Folk Art Rooster has an
elegant "country folk" motif by Michelle Kibbe. Her hand
painted design features bands of vivid red and black in checkerboard
and cross hatch accents. Meticulously painted flowers in black
and gold resemble a scrimshaw style and complete the look on this 5.25" figurine. Each
Floral Scroll Rooster Figurine is $70 and limited to 14
figurines.
Pre-orders for the Winter Birdhouses
Owl, Roscoe & Roxie Snowpeople Pair and Floral
Scroll Rooster Figurines will be

Here's a fun Halloween Opal Satin
6.75" Witch designed by Kim Barley. We call this 6.75" witch
"Hocus Pocus". The name is hand painted on the green treat
bag that the witch is holding. Kim's whimsical details are delightful, from the haunted
house, witch, cat, and pumpkin scene on the bottom of the
dress to the golden stars, spider web and the
blue-gold and black hair. How about that face! A
perfect spooky accent for your Halloween display! Each
Hocus Pocus Witch Figurine is $120.
Below: Robin Spindler continues
her wildlife theme on this impressive 11.5" Opal Satin
Vase. She calls her design "Stranger Danger" and you can
see why from the views shown on this vase. A mother
giraffe stands at alert while her youngster warily watches
by her side as a Clouded Leopard approaches. Another
giraffe continues munching on leaves from a nearby tree.
Black and golden-orange stripe details encircle the bottom
area of the vase. Robin's hand painted details are
meticulously executed and true to life. |
The name "Stranger Danger" will be hand
painted, along with Robin's signature, date and number on each
Limited Edition vase. Did you know. . .
Because of their unusual size and shape, giraffes have
a highly-specialized cardiovascular system that includes a
heart that can be two feet long and weigh up to 25 pounds!
Despite having a long neck, giraffes have the same number of
neck vertebrae as humans—just seven. Each individual vertebra
is super-sized, measuring up to ten inches long. "Stranger Danger", Robin's
signature, the date and the number will be hand painted on each Limited Edition vase. Each
Stranger Danger Vase is $260.

Our popular Puppy Figurine has been transformed
into a Beagle pup caught in the pumpkin patch! Robin Spindler
created a wonderful hand painted pumpkin complete with green
vines on the front side. She added natural "Beagle" details to complete
this 3.5" tall and 4" long figurine. Each Pumpkin
Puppy Figurine is
$80.
Pre-orders for the
Hocus Pocus Witch Figurine, Stranger Danger Vase and Pumpkin Puppy Figurine will be accepted until midnight
(ET) on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Fenton Art Glass Mould Information.
. . |
As
mentioned in previous newsletters, the Fenton Gift Shop
has offered about 10,000 moulds for sale. The link below will take you to an Excel
spreadsheet that lists all of the moulds in numerical
order from the Fenton record system. The spreadsheet lists
the moulds in numerical order (column A) as recorded in
the Fenton system. Information in other columns will help
you. Columns D and K provide brief descriptions of each
mould. When known, the previous owner of a mould is listed
in column Q. Fenton historian James Measell traced the
histories of many moulds, and his comments are in columns
S and T. The current status of any moulds sold (or
promised) to a particular purchaser is noted in column U.
The prices for moulds are in column M. This Excel file is
"searchable" so
you can use your search terms to try to
find particular moulds.

The
links below will take you to files with the Fenton mould
pictures including crimps and optic moulds.
These color photos of the moulds are in the same numerical
order as column A in the Excel spreadsheet. View these
photos on your computer and keep the Excel spreadsheet at
hand simultaneously. Please note: the Excel spreadsheet
will be updated from time to time as moulds are sold or
promised to purchasers. |
Fenton Art Glass
eBay Auctions. . .
Here's an opportunity
to own a beautiful
"one-of-a-kind" art
glass creation or an item from Fenton's history through our weekly
eBay auctions. This auction ends at noon (ET) on Wednesday,
September 20th.
Items featured this week. . .
You’ll love the wonderful hand painted details
of a smiling snowman holding a stocking filled with holly on
this one-of-a-kind Alley Cat! This 11” tall satin finished
Jadeite Alley Cat was designed and hand painted by Fenton
designer and artist Michelle Kibbe. Note the mischievous
winking eye on the face! Michelle airbrushed this figurine in
tones of blue for a beautiful effect. This Alley Cat is signed
inside "OOAK 2017 Hand painted by M. Kibbe". Using an historic
Fenton Art Glass mould that originated at U.S. Glass in Tiffin
during the 1920s, our friends at Mosser Glass handcrafted this
Alley Cat in Jadeite glass as an exclusive for Fenton Gift
Shop.
This Fenton Art Glass 9.5" Favrene Vase is sure to become a
family heirloom! Award-winning Fenton designer J. K. "Robin"
Spindler created a beautiful scene of a buck standing amongst
flowers by sandcarving with hand painted details. It is
challenging to capture the true beauty of this remarkable vase
in photos. The breathtaking scene includes distant mountains,
an early dawn luminescent sky, and petite white flowers with
red and yellow centers encircling this vase. Robin created
sandcarved bands around the top and bottom of this piece.
Fenton's Favrene glass contains cobalt and silver and must be
worked under exacting conditions of both heat and oxygen to
coax out the rich color. This vase has a sandcarved "Fenton F"
logo and "designed by JK Spindler OOAK" signature on the
bottom.
Blue Burmese is a classic Fenton glass color, and this spectacular
one-of-a-kind hand painted Fenton Art Glass vase (6.5" tall) by Fenton artist
Michelle Kibbe is simply remarkable. The rich pink tones of
Blue Burmese glass are the perfect background for Michelle's
depictions of a sitting Rabbit, a pair of Chickadees and a
Cardinal ... all within a wonderful Winter landscape, complete
with trees (note the berries on the branches where the
Cardinal perches) and snow-covered ground. All of the details
are meticulously hand painted. This one-of-a-kind vase is
identified, dated and signed on the underside: "hand painted
by M. Kibbe OOAK 2017". This auction ends at noon (ET) on
Wednesday, September 20th.
