Robin Spindler continues her "endangered species" series of hand painted designs. She named this series "Fading from Memory" and each limited edition piece will feature an endangered species. The fourth limited edition piece in Robin's "Fading from Memory" series is this elegant Opal Satin vase featuring a Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep.

Robin's meticulous hand painted details bring to life this magnificent creature, listed as an endangered species since January 3, 2000. Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep live exclusively in the Sierra Nevada of California, and Robin has done a wonderful job creating their native habitat. Her design encircles the vase (see photos above) and two lambs are shown on the front, along with the ram. Note the realistic details on the horns of the ram!

Did you know. . . the most prominent feature of Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep is the large, curled, brown horns that continue to grow throughout their lives?
Both rams (males) and ewes (females) have horns. The ram's horns are much larger and more curved. By 1995, the Sierra Nevada Bighorn population was
about 100 animals. After being placed on the Endangered Species List, the population estimate has increased to more than 500 animals. As you can see from the photo, each vase will be signed by Robin with the name of her series as well as that of the chosen species. Each Fading from Memory Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep Vase is $210.

this figurine into a "Moo-ster"! Hand painted vivid black patches create the look
of a Holstein cow, complete with a bell around its neck! Kim added polka dot accents and a there's even a big-eyed fly on its tail! Colorful flowers and grass adorn the base of this figurine. Each Moo-ster the Rooster Figurine is $75.

Michelle Kibbe chose the regal Siamese as her subject on our Stylized Cat figurine. From the brilliant blue eyes and cream-colored coat to the darker brown markings on the face, ears, tail and paws, this figurine is a must-have for cat enthusiasts and figurine collectors!   Did you know. . . A Siamese cat's eyes are blue because the gene responsible for the coat pattern also restricts the amount of pigment (which is responsible for green or brown eyes) in the eyes? It's not really possible to own a Siamese cat, they're much too independent!   A vibrant butterfly alight on bright purple flowers adorns the front of this figurine. Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe showcases all of her talents and skills in this wonderful one-of-a-kind hand painted vase
(6" tall) in classic Burmese glass. The cat in a lush floral meadow is distracted by a yellow butterfly in this exquisite scene (note the great details on the flowers, as you can see in the photo). Burmese glass is made with pure gold in the glass batch, and special reheating techniques by our glassworkers bring out the warm pink blush.

The award-winning and talented Fenton designer Kim Barley created and hand painted this splendid one-of-a-kind Cat figurine (3.5" tall). Her hand painted "Follow Your Heart" motif features delicate hearts and green foliage and is sure to please! As always, the hand painted eyes are remarkably expressive. This one-of-a-kind Cat was made with an historic Fenton mould in Crown Tuscan glass by our friends at Mosser Glass. Front and Back views are shown in above photo.

The "Bridesmaid" Doll figurine (nearly 7" tall) is among the most popular collectibles among Fenton glass enthusiasts, and this one-of-a-kind creation by award winning Fenton designer Robin Spindler is sure to attract lots of attention. Delicate airbrushing was used for the skin tones on the Cobalt Blue glass, and special hand painting techniques were needed to create the remarkably intricate lace on the dress.
