Valentine's Day is a month away and now is the
time to order a beautiful Limited Edition Fenton Art Glass
keepsake for someone special! Kim Barley continues
her Valentine's Day theme with this wonderful figurine hand painted as
Saint Valentine bearing a scroll with the message to "Follow your
heart." The figurine has an iridescence with a shiny pink
robe with pink hearts and a golden gift bag. The details on the
face are wonderful.
Each Follow Your Heart Saint Valentine
Santa Figurine is
$130 and is limited to just 18 pieces.
|
The outstretched arms of this Ghost figurine
hold colorful candy hearts with these printed messages of love:
OXOX, LOVE, HUGS, and MISS YOU.
Kim hand lettered the "You're the Cats"
wording and added a small hand painted cat
face to convey the message "You're the Cat's Meow!"
Two adorable black cats sit side by side. Note
the small white heart on the backside of the larger feline!
Kim added delightful whimsical accents, including heart-shaped
flowers surrounding the cats and heart paw-prints on the front
and back of this figurine. The details on the ghost's smiling
face are wonderful, especially those twinkling eyes!
Each "You're the Cat's Meow" Ghost
Figurine is $125. |
Michelle Kibbe chose perfect subjects to
commemorate Valentine's Day with "Forever Faithful" hand
painted scene of a pair of white swans. Her hand painted
details are beautiful. . . and you might want to reach out and
touch the delicate petals on the flowers! Michelle uses the
water and flowers as the background for her design and it
encircles the vase.
Did you know. . . the largest members of the
duck and goose family, a pair of swans will form a bond that
may last for life. The image of two swans swimming with their
necks entwined in the shape of a heart has become known as a
universal symbol of love. Note how the entwined heads of the
swans on this vase form a heart! This vase is the perfect way to show your
love!
Each Forever Faithful Sea Breeze Vase is
$150. This vase is limited to just nine pieces!
Pre-orders for the
Follow Your Heart Saint Valentine Santa
and You're the
Cat's Meow Ghost figurines, as well as the

Kim Barley's creative mind came up with another
wonderfully whimsical design for our 11" Alley Cat figurine.
"Bowler Al" the Alley Cat gives us a big smile with
his tongue peeking through that mischievous grin. Don't you just love his
expression!
We wanted to show several views of this figurine so you
can see more of Kim's whimsical hand painted details. . . from
the bowling ball and "cat pin" resting near his front paws to
the name "Al" monogrammed on his shirt pocket. Note that
"Alley Cat Xing" sign on the side of this figurine and the
pink fish-shaped string tie. Don't forget the white tip on this
cat's tail! This Alley Cat is set to roll a perfect 300 game
each and every time!
Did you know. . . During the early 1900s,
bowling balls were made of wood and later, from a heavy
rubber. Manufacturers used polyester resin for the first time
around 1960, which enabled the production of the current
plastic bowling balls in bright, swirled colors. Each
Bowler Al Alley Cat Figurine is $225.
Below: "Pelican Beach" perfectly
describes the serene scene Michelle Kibbe designed and hand painted
on our 9" Opal Satin vase. She
created a blue sky and sea background for the entire
vase, then added the wooden dock with a resting, yet watchful,
Pelican. Note the marvelous inlet with a lighthouse
and
other pelicans flying in the distance on the reverse side.
Each Pelican Beach Vase is $145.
Kim Barley continues her "Follow your heart"
theme on our 2.5" Opal Satin mouse figurine. Kim airbrushed
the figurine in a vibrant pink hue to match the Saint
Valentine Santa figurine (see above), then added colorful pink
and rose-colored hearts with the hand painted "follow your
heart" message. Note the fur trim details on the shirt with a
large pink heart and those buckle shoes! This figurine makes a
perfect gift for someone special in your life!
Each Follow Your Heart Mouse Figurine is
$85 and is limited to 15.
Pre-orders for the Bowler Al Alley
Cat and
Follow Your Heart Mouse figurines, as
well as the Pelican Beach
Vase

creation
through our weekly eBay Auctions! This auction ends at
noon (ET) Wednesday, December 21st.

Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe designed and
hand painted these wonderful portraits of Yorkshire
terriers on this one-of-a-kind Persimmon vase (11"
tall). The delicate airbrushing adds to the depth of the
portraits, and the hand painted details of the dogs are
simply amazing, as you can see from the photos.
Persimmon is a cased glass, featuring a rich ruby
exterior and a milk glass interior. This one-of-a-kind
vase is identified, dated and signed on the underside:
The Happiness Bird is among the most popular items ever
made at Fenton art Glass, and this one-of-a-kind example
by the talented Kim Barley is sure to "fly" into a lucky
collector's home! Handcrafted in Ocean glass by Mosser
Glass (using the Fenton mould), this Happiness Bird
(6.5" long) features a delightfully whimsical hand
painted floral decoration. Note the Fenton oval logo
under the wing!
With satin-finished Burmese glass for her canvas, Fenton
artist Michelle Kibbe designed and hand painted the
sumptuous floral motif on this 10.5" tall vase. Note the
delicate pink blush, achieved by pure gold in the glass
batch and special reheating techniques as well as the
delicate crimp style. The optic pattern in the glass is
a series of fine lines that create the look of
latticework.
Included in the Christmas line for 1999, this Spruce
Green sugar (3.25" tall) and creamer (3.625" tall) were
made (5700SO) at Fenton Art Glass with moulds that were
purchased that year from the L. G. Wright Glass Co. of
New Martinsville, West Virginia. Wright called this
pattern "Panel Grape" in his sales materials, and the
details and texture are quite attractive. Both of these
pieces have the Fenton "script F" logo and the number
"9" to indicate the decade of the 1990s.
