Cameo
Glass Online Savings Special!
As we continue winding down
factory inventory, we have limited quantities of magnificent
cameo carved creations available, while supplies last! Cameo
carving is a painstaking process. After the glass has been
annealed, a special mask is taped to the surface of the glass.
Using an advanced "vignetting" technique, each piece is
carefully sandcarved, by hand, using aluminum oxide crystal
under pressure to take away some of the surface. Great
individual skill and experience are needed to control this
operation, as many distinct stages of successive cameo carving
are required to
create the remarkable depth and the intricate details.
Shown here and at below right is
our Climbing Cameo Carved Vase. This beautiful 9" vase
is made of Aubergine cased with Milk Glass. The vase features a
lush floral design that climbs around the vase. The
photo below shows the vases when placed on a window sill with
sunlight streaming through the vase. On the bottom of each
vase is inscribed the name: Climbing, the
Fenton script F USA logo, the signature Kelsey/Bomkamp, and
the number of the piece. This vase was originally limited
to 75 pieces.
The vases are numbered and will be sold on a first come, first serve
basis. No two are exactly alike, and the bottom areas vary as a result
of the production process.

Three Entwined cameo
carved vases remain with no two alike, as you can see by the
photo below! Each vase has a stamp with the words "ENTWINED
Fenton USA" and an inscribed signature: Kelsey/Bomkamp.
Designed by cameo artists Kelsey Murphy and Robert Bomkamp,

For more than half a century, overlay colors have
been produced by Fenton. Typically, a core of Milk Glass is
gathered and shaped by a skilled glassworker called a Blocker.
For these two vases, Milk Glass was used as the outer layer. Our glass technologists assure that the two layers of glass will
match perfectly, expanding and contracting at the same rate.
Our Aqua with Milk Glass Overlay Vase features a precious child
gazing at a brilliant star. This vase is numbered and limited to
26 pieces.
The Cobalt and Milk Glass Overlay
Vase has a fun penguin design. This vase is numbered and limited
to 25 pieces. The Cobalt Satin Lamp features a Chickadee design
handpainted by Stacy Williams. The lamp is numbered and limited to 30 pieces.
