Last year Fenton was approached by two gift industry veterans
who were looking for a partner to provide shipping, warehousing
and marketing support to reintroduce a classic line of stained glass, Glassmasters. This line included traditional good sellers, plus a new line of Hummel art. The glass product was of excellent quality and it opened the opportunity to work in a cooperative and synergistic way in marketing both the Glassmasters products and the new Fenton beads. Thus, in January of 2012, Fenton Art Glass entered into a partnership with Glassmasters to distribute a new line of imported stained glass products based on M. I. Hummel art and other classic stained glass designs. Fenton is pleased to offer these wonderful stained glass creations to you through the Fenton web site. Glassmasters is world renowned for creating stained glass designs of licensed museum artwork and replicas of original stained glass windows. Glassmasters creates collectible and home decor size stained glass panels of the images using a proprietary labor intensive handcraft process.

The imagery is painstakingly recreated by artisans who hand apply translucent enamels to cathedral glass in a traditional one color at a time process. Each color is fired into the glass at temperatures above 1100 degrees Fahrenheit. The enamels actually become part of the glass. Each design recreated by Glassmasters is unique.

This collection features stained glass reproductions of the art created by Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel.

A talented artist and devoted Franciscan nun, the art created by Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel between 1932 and her untimely death in 1946, is renowned for characteristic simplicity, celebration of childhood innocence and warm reflection on human nature. Sister Hummel's natural, simple, harmonious and sometimes humorous works focus on the essential elements of the unspoiled innocence of childhood. Sister recognized childhood as an occasion of 'peace and goodness' that must be protected for each generation.

The enduring quality of the art, and the constant reminder that it is all about the children is an appeal to the heart that spawned a worldwide legacy now into its second century. Since 1932 the craftsmen of ARS AG, Switzerland, have reproduced the sacred art of Sister M. I. Hummel, to be loved and enjoyed by countless generations. These products are imported.

We have a very limited quantity available of this adorable handpainted mini Bunny figurine, handcrafted in Lavender with a satin finish. Lavender contains neodymium, so pieces will be different colors under various lighting conditions. This characteristic is called dichroic, and it makes Lavender a
great conversation topic. Lavender Satin provides the perfect canvas for Kim Barley's handpainted whimsical design. This figurine features colorful blossoms, a butterfly and polka dot accents and each one is signed by the Kim. Different views are shown in the photo because the figurine is handpainted on all sides.
