Fenton Art Glass Newsletter

(Williamstown, WV, November 8, 2011). During the past several weeks, our employees have been very busy in our many storage areas and with our remaining inventory of glassware. We add items to the Fenton Gift Shop almost every day, and we have welcomed quite a few bus tour groups over the past weeks. At this time, we foresee that the Fenton Gift Shop will be open as usual for an extended time.

The Fenton Made in America beads and Teardrop earrings continue to grow in popularity. We recently added seasonal and holiday colors and decorations to this line, and more and more Fenton dealers will have these available for you to see. Our web site, www.fentonartglass.com, is always the best place to see the latest offerings of beads and earrings.

Fenton dealers across the country are now displaying numerous items from our 2011 Final offerings. These include a wide variety of handmade glass items in classic Fenton colors as well as some splendid handpainted decorations done by our talented design staff. A special group of Fenton USA fairy lights is our current project, and these will be shipped to dealers in late November.

Our testing furnace for industrial glass has been shut down, and our large pot furnace is no longer able to produce the volume of glass needed for some of our other ventures. We continue to look for opportunities to enter the industrial glass market, but this is indeed a challenge.
