Fenton USA Presents. . . QVC Special Preview for May 4, 2010

We'll have a wide variety of beautiful handcrafted glass creations and great Mother's Day gift ideas for you to choose from on our next QVC show on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. George Fenton will appear as guest host. Show times are: 5-6 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. (Eastern Time).  This show kicks off the 105th Anniversary year for the Fenton Art Glass Company. Watch for our special commemorative glass piece featuring a 105th Anniversary logo!

C28000 Key Lime Opalescent
Drapery Rose Bowl Basket

 Inspired by a Northwood pattern, Tony Rosena designed this mould in the 1970s. The 8'' basket features a loop handle.
A metallic salts spray
adds the iridized finish!


C28003 Lavender Rose Bowl

This 3'' Rose Bowl is sanded
with a scalloped top. The mould was
designed by Tony Rosena in 1993.
Lavender glass contains neodymium,
so your pieces will be different colors
under various lighting conditions.
This characteristic is called dichoric,
and it makes Lavender a great
conversation topic! Handpainted
floral design by Kim Barley.

28004 Burmese Persian Tent Box

Handcrafted in our classic
Burmese glass, which contains
pure gold in the formula. The mould
is  from the Fostoria Glass Co. We
 renamed the mould as Persian Tent.

Shelley Fenton Signature
 Our 8" Tulip Vase is handcrafted in classic Burmese, which contains pure gold in the formula. The mould is from Indiana Glass, circa 1916-17.

Overlay Vase
First time on QVC!

Our 8-1/2'' Vase features a new
glass treatment. Handcrafted
 in Milk Glass with a Plum Opalescent
overlay. The result is an amazing
pale white expanding to a deep purple.
The raspberry and blossoms design
is by Kim Barley and complements
the Perky Cat figurine (C28023).

8015 Great American Dove Bowl
First time on QVC!

Fenton Signature

This 12-3/4'' Great American Dove Bowl
is the second piece in our Great American
Glass Collection. The mould was acquired
by Frank M. Fenton in the 1960s from
Verlys of America. The
handpainted accents were designed
by Michelle Kibbe.  This Dove Bowl
features the Great American Glass
backstamp.  Complements the
Happiness Bird (C28016).

8016 Key Lime Happiness Bird

Handcrafted in our refreshing
Key Lime with a satin iridized finish,
 this 6" Happiness Bird
figurine is handpainted to
complement the Dove Bowl (C28015).
The mould originated at the
Paden City Glass  Company.


C28019 Rosalene Elephant Box
Our cute 4'' Rosalene Elephant Box features the good luck symbol of
an uplifted trunk! Kim Barley's
whimsical design features bright florals and tassels! Mould designed by
Suzi Whitaker. Use the trunk as a ringholder and store little treasures
inside the box!

Handcrafted in our new
Buttercup color, this 10-1/2''
Covered Candy Box has been iridized
for added sparkle! Handpainted
with an antique design by
Michelle Kibbe. Tony Rosena

C28025 Lotus Mist Burmese
Miniature Pitcher - First time on QVC!
Inspired by a piece made by
H. Northwood Company. We bought glass from them and decorated it in 1905. Lotus Mist Burmese was the brainchild of George Fenton. First made in 2001 as an Historic Collection color for that year, Lotus Mist Burmese features the distinctive pink blush of the
original Burmese.
The 105th Anniversary Logo appears
on the bottom of the pitcher.


C28028 Marigold Carnival
Atlantis Vase
This 6-1/2" Atlantis Vase features
a bas-relief pattern of swimming fish. Handcrafted in Cobalt glass, the  metallic salts spray adds the Marigold Carnival sparkling finish. Robert May designed the mould for the Duncan & Miller Co..  Fenton purchased the mould from U.S. Glass and first made the vase in Carnival in 1971. Complements our Asian Fish figurine (C28006).


C28006 Marigold Carnival Asian Fish
A special spray of metallic salts creates various effects on different base glass colors. Skilled Fenton craftsmen have slipped back in time to revive this signature iridescent treatment.
Our 5" Asian Fish figurine is handcrafted in Cobalt and a metallic salts spray adds a sparkling Marigold Carnival finish. Complements the Atlantis Vase  (C28028).


C28031 Robin's Egg Blue
Square Vase
This 8'' Square Vase is handcrafted
in our new Robin's Egg Blue. The vase features an inverted square crimp. The mould was designed by Jon Saffell in 1995. Kim Barley's design features a butterfly hovering near a fern leaf. Paints used include metallic silver
and antique gold.
