Made in America handcrafted Rrrribbit glass Bead with approx. 3/16'' sterling silver core embossed with Fenton USA. Designed by Fenton lampwork artist Jena Lane Blair, this three-dimensional glass bead features a charming frog just waiting for a kiss! Painting with molten glass to create beautiful three dimensional artwork requires a steady hand and keen eye. The bead artisan carefully applies the thread-like strands of glass to the hot bead, being ever watchful not to melt the artwork while maintaining the bead temperature of 900 degrees. Each flower, leaf, animal, or berry is added one at a time and then secured to the bead. Because of the handmade process, bead size may vary from 1/2'' to 5/8'' in diameter.
