A popular television show, as well as many movies, highlight travel on a famous US highway: Route 66, also known as the Will Rogers Highway or the Main Street of America. Route 66 was one of the original highways in the U.S. Highway system (established on Nov. 11, 1926) and many of you may recall fond memories of travel on this popular scenic byway. Interesting stops on this route include: Grant Park (Chicago, IL), 66 Drive-In (Carthage, MO), Brush Creek Bridge (Cherokee County, KS), Ed Galloway's Totem Pole Park (Foyll, OK), Glenrio Historic District (Glenrio, TX), Luna Lodge (Albuquerque, NM), Painted Desert Inn (Navajo, AZ), and the Rialto Theatre (South Pasadena, CA).

We've commemorated Route 66 as a work of art, with our custom designed glass bead with hand applied decoration. Handcrafted in Blue glass with a delightful scene (encircling the bead) featuring a "Woody" station wagon, the Route 66 road sign and scenic landscape. Included in our Custom Bead grouping, each bead has an approximately 3/16'' sterling silver core embossed with Fenton USA.
